Stage 4  Stratford upon Avon to Tewkesbury

Grannies and their friends were welcome to join Beryl, especially on the circular walks.  Julia was delighted to collect any donations to the Granny Trek fund for Children's Hospice South West.

Stratford-upon-Avon was the only town remaining on the Granny Trek that had failed to offer up an organiser for a circular walk, but thankfully Rosemary Brereton stepped in at short notice and a most successful day ensued, as well as a further donation at a later date from a car boot sale that Rosemary attended.  We're so grateful to her.

The motorhome was parked at Riverside Caravan Park, Stratford upon Avon, for three nights (20th, 21st and 22nd June).

Beryl set out from Stratford-upon-Avon on the 22nd, walking through Bidford-on-Avon and Evesham to reach Tewkesbury two days later on the 24th June.

On Saturday, the 25th a circular walk was held at Tewkesbury, thanks to the kind assistance of Margaret Jones (01684 293643).

The team say a heartfelt thank you to all our overnight hosts for their support.
