Target - What Target?? Bearded Dave Walton - hiding at the back! With huge thanks and appreciation to Dave Walton of Torquay, who decided to ask for donations to our cause rather than presents for his recent 70th birthday - (I’m sure he’s misread his birth certificate!) – the original target of £60,000 has now been passed. Rather than this giving a feeling of completion, I feel it’s like a release into the future of Granny Trek, where we hope that many thousands of people will enjoy a country walk while raising money to help ease the strain on families using the children’s hospice. My sincere thanks and warm good wishes go to every single person who has contributed in any way so far and I hope that each will feel a part of the Granny Trek brigade as we march forward to conquer yet more heights in our fund raising. |
