Barclays Do It Again! How the time flies by between my entries to this journal! Already two weeks has gone since our magnificent Celebration Granny Trek and the money continues to flow in. We are confident that all the pledges will arrive and we are also receiving money that we didn’t know about previously. To each and every one of you who have contributed to Granny Trek, thank you so much on behalf of the staff and families of Children’s Hospice South West. Barclays Bank are so delighted with the success of 1st April that they are going to walk again on 6th May – isn’t that fantastic? We owe so much to the enthusiasm of Denise Rogers (pictured above) who since first hearing about Granny Trek last May has given unstinting support to the cause. If you’d like to join in on 6th May, you’ll find details on the Events Page. Hurry – as places are limited. The bluebells should be a wonderful sight – carpeting the woodland floor. Yet again we’ll be praying for a sunny day. |
