Pre-celebration meeting On Tuesday we travelled to the offices of Barclays Bank at Park House, Parkway in Bristol, where we met some of the eight walkers from the Bank who are taking part in the Celebration Granny Trek on 1st April at Charlton Farm, Wraxall. Denise Rogers of Barclays had arranged for a photographer to come along from the Bristol Evening Post and Louise, of Children’s Hospice South West, also came with Bristol mother Carol Godfrey and her young son Joshua. Carol’s family is one of many who benefit from the care and support of Children’s Hospice South West, as Joshua suffers from ill health for which there is currently no cure. Barclays have pledged to donate £ for £ all sponsorship raised by their walkers for this event. |
