Worrying week If you're following my journal you will know that one of the half-marathon team collapsed last Sunday. He was rushed to hospital and remained unconscious until today, Friday, with many medical scares. I'm so relieved to tell you that today he has begun to regain consciousness and is generally in a stable condition. How sobering this has been, after the fun and laughter leading up to the start of the big race. Tony and I saw the ambulance rushing off to the hospital, blue light flashing, siren wailing, and joked that it was probably one of our team. Little did we know that it was indeed the case.. How we take our good health for granted! |
