Look out!![]() The days are lengthening noticeably now and in three weeks we alter the clocks. When it’s light in the very early mornings, I’m planning to slip out with Rudi and Fritz while Tony is still asleep and start some training walks. Six hours sleep seems enough nowadays, so with a five o’clock start we can be home in time for breakfast! Tony’s been working hard to learn how to use the GPS and Memory Map. We’ve bought the map that covers our area, so now when we walk the dogs his eyes are down and he’s marching purposefully to some invisible waypoint. The photo shows the dangers of getting it wrong! Now that my timetable is complete, the daunting task of contacting walkers to join me en route and for the circular walks has begun. It will be important to find those willing to act as information points for each location. Sponsor forms can be printed off the web site and we can also tailor them to suit individual walks or events. Details of the circular walks will gradually be appearing on the route page, so if you live or will be holidaying in the area, do please join in. |
