Whilst the grannies are enjoying either tramping through the mud, or making endless cups of coffee to raise lots of money for this wonderful charity, let us do our bit by quietly thinking of ideas for events that they can organize; or, better still, write a cheque made out to Granny Trek CHSW. I’m sponsoring an hour’s Granny silence.
I don’t believe it!

My wife organized a coffee morning and raised £124, but she wouldn’t even give me a cup of tea in bed! Please find my cheque for £25 to match the price I had to pay for my coffee - and I made it myself.
I know the feeling!

Yesterday my wife went off with 20 other grannies for a 5 mile trek in Lincolnshire and got lost. Please find £50 for not alerting the rescue services.
Do you think they’ll donate for not having to search for the old biddies!?

Re the grannies who got lost. My wife said “Ridiculous, one of them would have had a mobile phone and called the mountain rescue team!”
Why not the RNLI?

Today we held a drinking contest. I won, I shthink.
